Tanja is a Dutch freelance illustrator based in Amsterdam.
She has been drawing since she was little and had formal training at the Artemis Academy in Amsterdam. She sees inspiration in seemingly small unimportant everyday situations, like impulsive snapshot photographs with bad cropping and weird angles. But it can also be found in the people around her, the fashion industry, nature or music. Experimentation is an integral part of her working process and she uses various techniques in her work such as ink, pencils, oil paint, screen printing and collage.
